• Tank Setup:
  • Substrate and Decorations: A soft substrate, such as sand or fine gravel, is recommended. Green Terrors appreciate a well-planted tank with plenty of hiding spots created by rocks, driftwood, and plants.
  • Lighting: Moderate lighting is best, as it encourages plant growth and mimics their natural habitat.
  • Filtration: A strong filtration system is necessary to maintain water quality, along with regular water changes (about 20% weekly).

Diet:

• Green Terrors are omnivorous and benefit from a varied diet to maintain their health and vibrant coloration. Their diet should include:
  • Pellets: High-quality cichlid pellets should form the staple of their diet.
  • Live or Frozen Foods: They thrive on live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp, daphnia, and bloodworms, which provide essential protein and mimic their natural diet.

Tankmates:
