Its bold leaf shape and rich colouration add dramatic contrast and a natural, tropical feel to aquascapes. When allowed to grow freely, Nymphaea lotus may produce floating leaves, while regular trimming encourages more compact, submerged growth.

Care and Growth:

This plant thrives under medium to high lighting and benefits from a nutrient-rich substrate, as it is a strong root feeder. CO₂ injection can enhance growth speed and colour intensity, but it is not essential. Root tabs are recommended to support healthy development.
