Cryptocoryne lucens is easy to care and cultivate. The plants produce a narrow, pure green leaves. Growing to a height of 10-20cm, this is a good candidate for the aquarium foreground. It grows very slowly, which means it requires very little maintenance. As with many rosette-like plants, only the older, outer leaves should be removed. However, it's possible to cut the plant back completely to encourage denser growth.
