Overview:
Bucephalandra ‘Kedagang’ – In Vitro is a highly desirable Bucephalandra variety, offered as a sterile tissue culture free from algae, pests, and snails. Known for its elongated leaves and deep green to bluish tones, it adds refined texture to planted aquariums.
In vitro plants adapt well once planted and allow for flexible placement, as portions can be divided and attached to rocks or driftwood. Colour and leaf shape may vary slightly as the plant transitions from emersed to submersed growth.
Care and Growth:
This plant thrives in low to medium lighting and does not require CO₂ injection, though supplementation can improve growth and colour depth. After removing all gel from the roots, small clumps should be attached to hardscape with thread or aquarium-safe glue, keeping the rhizome exposed.
Growth is slow, and Bucephalandra prefers stable water parameters. Temporary leaf melt may occur during adaptation, but new, healthy growth typically follows once established.
