Product Overview

Bee Shrimp Mineral GH+ has been specially developed for keeping and breeding bee, bumblebee, and tiger shrimp. It is used to harden osmosis water, rainwater, demineralised water, and other soft water sources, increasing total hardness (°dH) without significantly affecting carbonate hardness (KH). This makes it ideal for shrimp from soft water habitats, with a KH/°dH ratio of approximately 0.06/1.0.

Bee Shrimp Mineral GH+ contains all essential minerals and trace elements required for health, vibrant colouration, growth, and strong reproduction rates. It also promotes plant growth and supports microbial regeneration within bio-filter substrates.

Water Stability & Microflora

By encouraging beneficial, antagonistic microflora, Bee Shrimp Mineral GH+ helps reduce the risk of harmful germs in the aquarium. The product has no direct influence on pH values, giving aquarists flexibility in managing water chemistry.

pH Management

For keeping and breeding shrimp, a pH value below 7 is recommended. This can be achieved once biological decomposition processes become active. If pH values are too high and KH is low, they can be adjusted using natural materials such as alder cones, peat (containing fulvic acid), or suitable pH-reducing agents.

Instructions for Use

Stir Bee Shrimp Mineral GH+ into water outside the aquarium. The mineral salt dissolves almost completely within seconds, after which the water is ready for use. Any remaining undissolved particles should be added to the aquarium. Close the container after each use.

Dosage

Harden osmosis water, rainwater, or demineralised water to approximately 6 °dH and/or a conductivity of around 200 ± 50 µS. This corresponds to one slightly heaped measuring spoon (approx. 3 g) per 20 litres of water. Measuring spoon included.
