Product Overview

JBL Clearmec plus is a specialised filter material designed to remove nitrites, nitrates and phosphates from freshwater aquariums. By reducing these algae-promoting nutrients, it helps create crystal-clear water and a healthier aquatic environment.

The media is a mixture of fired clay pellets and special resins. Phosphate, nitrite and nitrate are absorbed without removing vital trace elements. The clay pellets also promote colonisation by beneficial cleansing bacteria, supporting biological balance within the aquarium.
