Sagittaria subulata common name Subulata from the family Alismataceae originates from South America and can grow to a height of 5 cm - 30 cm. S. subulata has be known to send a long flower stem to the surface, and small white flowers bloom on the water surface. For the best results ensure that the plants are placed 2-4 cm apart. In certain conditions S. subulata has be known to suddenly grow to a height of 50 cm when it grows older.
