The DD AI Blade Refugium 12” 20W is a specialised LED lighting solution designed specifically for refugium systems and macroalgae cultivation. Its carefully tuned spectrum focuses on the wavelengths most effective for promoting healthy macroalgae growth, helping to support natural nutrient export and overall aquarium stability.

While prioritising plant growth over visual aesthetics, this targeted lighting approach creates optimal conditions for macroalgae to thrive, contributing to improved water quality in marine aquarium systems.

Optics & Light Spread

EdgeField™ optics provide consistent PAR levels, smooth colour blending, and wide light distribution. With an approximate 95° spread, the design ensures even illumination across the refugium while maintaining natural shimmer and effective light penetration.

Mounting & Installation

The included Low Profile Tank Rest extends up to 4.5 inches on each side of the light, offering a total mounting span of approximately 9 inches. Additional mounting options are available to suit different installation requirements.
