Rock Beauty
The Rock Beauty is a striking marine angelfish, instantly recognisable by its vibrant yellow body contrasted with a deep black midsection and bright blue highlights around the eyes and fins. Known for its bold colouration and charismatic behaviour, it adds dramatic flair to large, well-established marine aquariums.

General Size Specifications:
Can grow up to 8–10 inches (20–25 cm) in length. Juveniles are usually around 2–3 inches (5–7.5 cm) when sold.
Habitat:
Native to the Western Atlantic, particularly the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico. Found near rocky reefs and coral formations, often in pairs or small groups.
Approximate Lifespan:
Typically lives 10–15 years in captivity when kept in optimal conditions.
Feeding and Diet:
Omnivorous with a preference for sponges and tunicates in the wild. In captivity, it requires a varied diet including sponge-based angelfish formulas, marine algae, mysis shrimp, and other meaty frozen foods.
Breeding:
Breeding in home aquariums is extremely rare. In the wild, Rock Beauties are broadcast spawners, releasing eggs and sperm into the water column during dusk.
