Cortez Angel
The Pomacanthus zonipectus, also known as the Cortez Angel, is a mesmerising species that brings an exotic presence to any fish-only aquarium. In its juvenile stage, it displays a deep blue body with electric blue and white rings. As it matures, these markings fade and the body develops into a striking blend of yellow and blue. This transformation makes it a visually dynamic addition to marine setups. The Cortez Angel is generally peaceful but requires adequate space and structure within the aquarium.

This species can grow up to approximately 12-18 inches (30-45 cm) in length as an adult.
Habitat:
Native to the Eastern Pacific, particularly the Sea of Cortez and surrounding coastal regions of West America, this species is commonly found in rocky reefs and coastal environments. Juveniles prefer sheltered areas with crevices, while adults inhabit deeper reef zones.
