It is the unique leaf shapes that make the D. diandra an excellent contrast to the rest of your aquaria. D. diandra is a delicate plant which requires intense, strong lighting, CO2 and regular micronutrients and iron supplements. It also has a preference to soft water. Although this a demanding plant it is well worth your while. Once D. diandra is adapted to your aquarium it will grow rapidly. Regular trimmings will encourage bushier and denser growth.
