We have a Treat of new arrivals for in store this week!


Introducing our latest arrivals at Seahorse Aquariums! Explore a diverse selection of unique aquatic species, including the newly discovered Hyphessobrycon peugeotorum from the Rio Juruena basin in Central Brazil. Also new in-store is Inpaichthys parauapiranga, native to South America, and Parotocinclus haroldoi, a fascinating catfish from the state of Piauí in Brazil. Discover the stunning Semaprochilodus taeniurus, commonly known as the silver prochilodus, a vibrant freshwater fish from South America.

We’re also excited to showcase the Scarlet Badis, a tiny but striking percoid fish known for its predatory nature, feeding on small crustaceans and insect larvae. Other new arrivals include Geophagus sveni, a beautiful Geophagini cichlid from Brazil’s Tocantins River, and Sirulana tropicalis, the tropical clawed frog from the Pipidae family.
