NT Labs Aquarium AxoCure 100ml is a treatment designed for axolotls showing symptoms commonly associated with external parasitic infections. These may include excess mucus secretion, blisters, sores or lesions on the skin, loss of colour, patchiness, peeling, shedding, chalky skin, scratching or rubbing. As these symptoms can also be caused by poor water quality, water testing should always be carried out before treatment.

AxoCure is intended for use as a bath treatment in a separate quarantine aquarium or container.

Usage Instructions

• Test aquarium water to rule out poor water quality
• Use a quarantine aquarium or appropriately sized clean container with airflow holes in the lid
• Fill with aquarium water and accurately measure the volume
• Dose the bath water with AxoCure according to the recommended rate and mix thoroughly
• Remove the axolotl using a fine net or container, limiting transferred aquarium water
• Leave the axolotl in the bath for 8 hours in a cool, dark place with the lid on
• Perform a water change on the main aquarium during treatment
• Check the axolotl hourly to monitor for stress
• Return the axolotl to the aquarium after treatment, limiting bath water transfer
• If symptoms persist after two weeks, retreat for two consecutive days only

Important Notes

• Do not pour directly into the aquarium
• Do not use for more than two consecutive days
• Do not leave the axolotl in the bath for more than 8 hours
