LPS Beginner Pack - Medium

Packaged with the beginner reef aquarists in mind, even the most experienced hobbyists will enjoy the beauty and value of these specimens. The Beginner LPS Coral Pack contains a colorful combination of Coral selected by the Seahorse Aquariums team.

The Ideal environment for these species is an established reef aquarium with coral friendly fish and invertebrates. The corals included in this pack will prefer moderate to high lighting so the minimum would be 2 X T5 lights with White and Blue tubes. Also remember that your tubes need to be replaced every 12 months as the corals will not survive under lights older than this as they lose their spectrum.

It is important to maintain both the alkalinity and calcium levels along with low phosphates in order to hold colouration and health of these LPS corals.

Although all of these corals do receive nutrition from photosynthesis, but will also benefit from feeding of zooplankton a few times per week. Offer Plankton, baby brine shrimp and other chopped meaty foods that are marine in origin.
