JBL MicroMec mini is a high performance biological filter media designed specifically for the JBL CristalProfi i60, i80, i100 and i200 internal filter range. Made from sintered glass pellets with a highly porous structure, it supports efficient long-term biological filtration.

The outer aerobic zone allows bacteria to break down ammonium and nitrite, while deeper zones create conditions for nitrate-reducing bacteria. Supplied ready to use in the filter basket with inner pipe.
