The Fluval U2 Poly/Carbon Cartridge (A490) is designed for use with the Fluval U2 Underwater Aquarium Filter System (A470). It functions as a Stage 2 combination chemical filtration and secondary mechanical filtration media.

One side features a dense poly foam layer to trap fine debris and very small particulates, while the other side contains activated carbon to help improve water clarity and reduce chemicals, odours, colours and other impurities.

These cartridges should be replaced approximately every 2 weeks to maintain optimal filtration performance.
