Cosmos Wrasse
The Cosmos Wrasse is a stunning and energetic reef fish known for its brilliant blend of electric blues, purples, and yellows. Its vibrant colouration and constant activity make it a standout in any marine aquarium. Though peaceful by nature, it may become territorial toward smaller or more passive tank mates if not housed in a suitably sized tank.

Habitat:
Found in the Indian Ocean and surrounding coral reef areas. Prefers sandy bottoms near coral structures where it can forage and bury itself for sleep or safety.

Lives around 5–8 years in captivity with appropriate care and environment.
Feeding and Diet:
The Cosmos Wrasse is carnivorous and thrives on a protein-rich diet including frozen mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, finely chopped seafood, and high-quality marine pellets. It also picks at live rock for microfauna.
Breeding:
Breeding in home aquariums is rare and not well documented. Like many wrasses, it may display sex-changing behaviour in social groups.
