Overview:

Nymphaea 'Rose Arey' is a stunning medium-growing hardy water lily, admired for its large, fragrant rose-pink flowers and attractive bronze-green floating foliage. Blooming continuously from early summer through to autumn, it brings vibrant colour, shade, and natural beauty to medium-sized ponds while helping to create a balanced aquatic environment.

Lighting Requirements:

Thrives in full sun. A minimum of 5–6 hours of direct sunlight each day is recommended for the best flowering performance.

Watering / Planting Depth:

Plant with the crown positioned 30–70cm below the water surface. Best grown in aquatic planting baskets using aquatic compost.

Placement Tips:

• Perfect for medium-sized ponds and water gardens
• Produces large, fragrant rose-pink flowers from June through September
• Floating leaves help shade the water, reducing algae growth
• Provides shelter for fish and other aquatic wildlife beneath its foliage

Approximate Size:

Typically supplied in an 11cm pot. Mature plants spread approximately 50–90cm across the water surface.

• Fully hardy and suitable for outdoor ponds in Ireland
• Remove faded flowers and older leaves throughout the growing season to encourage continued blooming
