The DD Marco Foundation Rock Coralline 18kg Box is a natural calcium carbonate reef rock designed to provide a stable base for marine aquarium aquascapes. Produced using a proprietary paint-free colouring process, the rock features a natural coralline appearance that gives new reef structures an established look while awaiting the growth of genuine coralline algae.

Foundation Rock is cut from natural ReefSaver rock to provide one flat, stable surface, making it ideal for building secure reef structures that remain stable even in high-flow aquariums or those housing active fish and invertebrates. Sustainably harvested from the on-land remains of ancient coral reefs, each piece is unique in shape and texture while remaining free from pests and unwanted hitchhikers. The natural calcium carbonate composition also provides buffering capacity and a porous surface that encourages the colonisation of beneficial bacteria.
