Active and curious, this wrasse brings both beauty and personality to larger marine aquariums.

General Size Specifications:

Females generally grow up to 6–7 inches (15–18 cm) in length.

Native to coral reefs throughout the Indo-Pacific region. Prefers lagoons and outer reef slopes with plenty of rockwork for hiding and foraging.

Approximate Lifespan:

Typically lives up to 8–10 years in captivity with proper care.

Carnivorous; feeds on small crustaceans, molluscs, and worms in the wild. In the aquarium, offer a varied diet of frozen mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, finely chopped seafood, and high-protein marine pellets.
