Pontederia cordata, commonly known as Pickerel Weed, is a beautiful marginal pond plant featuring glossy, heart-shaped leaves and striking spikes of violet-blue flowers. Flowering from summer into early autumn, it adds bold colour and vertical interest while providing valuable habitat for pollinators and aquatic wildlife.

Thrives in full sun to partial shade. The best flowering display is achieved in a sunny position.
Watering / Planting Depth:
Suitable for shallow water and pond margins. Plant at a depth of 5–30cm for optimal growth.
