JBL NovoMalawi contains essential algae, (spirulina platensis) as well as vegetable raw material and plant fibre, yet also has a small proportion of animal proteins specially balanced to meet the specific feeding habits of algae-grazing cichlids from Lake Malawi and Lake Tanganyika. When grazing on the algae beds, these fish regularly consume small animal organisms. Essential carotenoids promote brilliant colouring. The balanced combination of all vital ingredients such as proteins, fats and carbohydrates as well as essential minerals and vitamins ensure healthy growth and increased resistance to diseases. In addition, garlic (1 %) promotes growth.
