Provided with proper water parameters and good water quality, the Chocolate Lyretail Killifish does well in a peaceful community aquarium.

The name Killifish is derived from the Dutch word meaning ditch or channel where these brilliantly coloured fish are found in the wild. Use live plants along the sides and rear of the aquarium and finish with a cover of floating plants. Be sure to leave an open swimming area in the center of the aquarium.
