Overview

JBL PlanktonPur - a pure natural product from clean Arctic waters.  Natural food for fish sized 4-14cm. The JBL PlanktonPur is 100% fresh and pure plankton (crustaceans and molluscs 0.2 - 0.5 mm in size) without preservation agents for fresh and salt water fish. Plankton Pur 2g stick contains food for fish in aquariums up to 200 l (5 g stick for > 250 l). The perfect and species-appropriate food for fresh and salt water. It is high in nutrition (30 mg/g omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids).

The Plankton Pur contains 20 mg/kg of natural astaxanthin providing maximal colour development.  The primary food source of many freshwater and seawater fish is Zooplankton. Over generations these fish species have adapted to this nutrition. All of the JBL PlanktonPur zooplankton (animal-based plankton) is sourced by a unique fishing method in the cold, unpolluted Arctic waters of Norway.
